WOMEN'S CENTER OF TARRANT COUNTY CHAPBOOK COVER ILLUSTRATION
This illustration won a competition for the cover of a poetry chapbook detailing the stories of sexual assault survivors. It depicts the duality of painful trauma and hope within a woman who has experienced sexual assault or abuse. While encroaching darkness seems to enfold her, hope and strength radiate from within, sources of light that can never be stripped away.
